Risto Ivanovski - Macaferri-type12th fret D-hole

Another beautiful gypsy guitar from master luthier Risto Ivanovski,
this a Macaferri-type12th fret D-hole (also available in 14th fret
version) and still at low introductory price. (If you are thinking about
buying the cardboard version of this, don't--save your pennies and
buy the real thing; you'll thank me as soon as you get. For the money,
these guitars are far and away the best of their type available anywhere
today, period, not even close.) All solid wood: master grade spruce
top, 4-piece back, sides and neck of STUNNING walnut, rosewood
headstock, ebony bridge, all wood binding. Scale is 640mm; 48mm
at bone nut. Other than the machines (goldplated Gotoh Kluson-type
enclosed), this instrument has been ENTIRELY handcrafted by Ivanovsky
--rosette, finish, everything, even the tailpiece. Bracing is true to original
Macaferri designs, sound is rich, with tremendous reserves of power
--this is the alpha male of D-holes, in particular having a great deal more
bottom than factory versions of this model. 5-piece neck is extremely strong,
action is set low enough for speed but with a little room to bring down for
those who like it really low (and no buzzing). Absolutely no corners have
been cut on this guitar--but nothing has been DeLuxed-up either.

Ivanovski's goal is to make guitars of this kind which sound at least as good,
play as well, SMELL BETTER and will last as long as those selling for $3000+.
Michael Dunn and Shelley Park make terrific instruments; if you can't afford
one, you might consider one of these. You will NOT be disappointed.
