It has been a pleasure doing business with Goeffrey. Alhambra doesn't distribute this model in the US but Goeffrey brings them in by special order himself. It's a great guitar! And Geoff set it up personally before shipping it to me, playability is excellent. He was very helpful throughout the whole process. I would definitely buy another instrument from him again.

I recently purchased and received an 8Fc from XGuitars in Asheville, North Carolina. It seems the 7Fc is hard to keep in stock. I had my eye on an Alhambra 7Fc before they sold out a while back, so when the 8Fc went on sale for about the same price that I would have paid for the 7Fc plus a hard case (not included with the 7Fc), I had to buy it. The guitar arrived in perfect condition with a beautiful Alhambra branded hard case included. It performs exactly as I would expect a flamenco guitar should-light, bright, percussive and responsive. The action could be a little lower, but it is very comfortable to play since it is slightly lower than the classical guitar I also bought from XGuitars. Since it came with an extra saddle, I can easily adjust the action on one while keeping the original as is when I change the strings. One additional thing to note, the guitar came with a clear plastic tap plate installed, but was not mentioned in the description. I expect to thoroughly enjoy learning flamenco techniques on this beautiful guitar for many years to come.

Over the years I have played various styles of music and have owned a variety of guitars. However, my passion is now Flamenco guitar with some Classical pieces added to the mix. The guitar is very capable of playing a mix of Flamenco, Classical, Jazz and other styles of music. However, the guitar shines when playing Flamenco pieces. The more I play the instrument the more I find a physical, mental and spiritual connection with the Alhambra 8Fc. Maybe, it's the beauty of the instrument, the quality of the woods used, the sound projection, the playability and the classic Flamenco sound that makes me want to play for hours every day.
Overall, I highly recommend purchasing from XGuitars and I strongly recommend the Alhambra 8Fc Blanca Flamenco guitar for guitarists that are serious and compassionate about playing Flamenco guitar.
