Description
The Cordoba GK Studio Negra is built with a solid European spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, soft cutaway and Fishman Presys Blend preamp, the GK Studio Negra is the ultimate gigging instrument and a Córdoba best seller. Made for the stage, the GK Studio Negra is constructed with a slightly thinner body depth, neck, and nut width than a traditional Spanish guitar. The neck is designed to have little or no relief, offering low action for ease of comfort and quick playability. Flamenco players choose this model for a bassier and more robust tone in contrast to the bright, snappy sound of ‘blanca’ flamenco guitars. However, any guitarist looking for a new tone will feel right at home. Like every Córdoba guitar, this model has a two-way truss rod built into the neck. Other premium features include a high gloss finish, clear flamenco-style tap plate, Savarez strings and a padded deluxe gig bag. (Click here to hear the pronunciation of "Córdoba".)

Cordoba GK Studio Flamenco Guitar - Cutaway Design
The Cordoba GK Studio offers players a versatile cutaway flamenco guitar that captures the essence of traditional Spanish craftsmanship. This instrument combines classic flamenco construction with modern playability, making it suitable for both traditional repertoire and contemporary styles.
Traditional Flamenco Construction
Built with a solid European spruce top and cypress back and sides, this cutaway flamenco guitar delivers the bright, percussive tone characteristic of authentic flamenco instruments. The fan bracing pattern enhances resonance while maintaining the quick response essential for flamenco techniques like rasgueado and picado.
Enhanced Playability
The cutaway design provides comfortable access to higher frets, expanding your playing possibilities without compromising the traditional flamenco sound. The mahogany neck features a comfortable profile that supports both classical and flamenco playing positions.
Quality Appointments
Thoughtful details include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and gold tuning machines with white buttons. The lightweight construction typical of flamenco guitars ensures comfortable playing during extended sessions.
Professional Setup Included
Every Cordoba GK Studio cutaway flamenco guitar receives careful attention from our owner, Geoff Ferdón, who personally inspects and sets up each instrument to ensure optimal playability and tone. This professional setup process includes action adjustment, intonation, and fret leveling when necessary.
Versatile Performance Guitar
Whether you're exploring traditional flamenco repertoire or incorporating flamenco techniques into other musical styles, this cutaway flamenco guitar provides the authentic sound and responsive feel that serious players demand. Its versatility extends beyond flamenco to classical, Spanish classical, bossa nova, and Latin music styles. The combination of traditional materials and modern ergonomics makes it an excellent choice for students and professionals alike.
