Thank you

Bought this beauty in person from Geoff @ XGuitars. Not only is the guitar awesome but Geoff is awesome. This was a superb and intimate customer experience you can't find at a big-box store. I'm so happy with my Kremona and so happy I chose XGuitars. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a classical guitar. Thank you XGuitars!

Wonderful Sound at a Great Price

I bought this fine guitar 5 months ago and have been playing it almost daily ever since. I am very pleased with the resonant sound and flawless construction. I was attracted to this model because of the price and many quality features: all solid tone-wood construction, bone nut and saddle, rosewood tuner buttons and dual Fishman sound.
Working with Geoff at Xguitars was a distinct pleasure. Being trained in classical guitar, his guidance was most appreciated. The shipping was handled promptly, and the guitar was expertly packed. Xguitars is also my go-to place for classical guitar strings.

This guitar that I recently purchased is a lovely guitar, however it does not stay in tune. I purchases a classical guitar that came destroyed in the mail. I have been playing guitar for 45 years. I have a Takamine classical guitar that stays perfectly in tune and I just had a set up.

Thank you very much for your review, Vincent.

I'm sorry you're having trouble keeping your guitar in tune! This is not a function of the guitar, but the strings. The Ernie Ball ball-end strings you requested be added to your guitar are low-end strings and also the ball-end can cause the strings to take longer to settle in than a traditional tie end string. For better strings, I'd recommend either the Savarez Alliance 540J or the Savarez Corum 500CJ. These sets will also give you a better tone than the Ernie Ball strings.

If you have any questions about this or if you think I can help in any way, please let me know.

Best Regards,
Geoff Ferdón

Kremona Fiesta F65CW-SB

After some 40 years of playing strickly steel strings I decided to add a classical/nylon string guitar to my collection. Following weeks of searching, researching and listening to numerous recordings of mid-level classicals I narrowed my selections to the Kremona Fiesta F65CW-SB and the Alhambra 5PCT. As luck would have it I came acoss Xguitars and the Kremona was on sale. After a phone call and several email exchanges with Geoff I purchased the Kremona which I received securely packaged within 5 days of placing the order. I've been playing it for about 3 weeks now and I'm very pleased with the tone and playability. The F65CW-SB came with Royal Classic Sonata strings but I will be trying some alternate strings, Savarez 549J (suggested by Geoff) and D'Addario EJ46TT (based on internet reviews), to see how they effect clarity, volume, sustain, ect. As a note, the RC Sonata's that came on the guitar showed some signs of wear - i.e., some roughness at the higher frets on the trebles. There are a couple other things that I've noticed. These appear to be workmanship issues that hopefully are only aesthetic and will not become structual issues down the road. First there is a slight offset at the joint where the neck and heel come together. The second issue is the binding in that same area. The mitre joint where the horizontal and vertical bindings come together is misaligned/offset. See the attached picture. These issues aside, the Kremona is an intrument that is beautiful to the eye and beautiful to the ear and I look forward to playing, celebrating, and enjoying music with it for years to come. Thank you Geoff and thank you Xguitars.
